Zagreb bypass is a U-shaped motorway partially encircling Zagreb, Croatia. The largest part by far, between Jankomir and Ivanja Reka interchanges, was built between 1977 and 1979, while the Ivanja Reka – Sveta Helena section was built between 1996 and 1999. The bypass is 48.9 kilometres long, tracing around the city from the northwestern suburb of Zaprešić to Sveta Helena in the northeast.

Homeland Bridge
Homeland Bridge is a 840 meters long bridge over Sava River located in southeastern Zagreb, Croatia. Its administrative location is the city district Peščenica - Žitnjak. The bridge carries four lanes connecting the Radnička street between the Petruševec neighborhood in the north and the Kosnica interchange with the Zagreb bypass in the south. The bridge was built in the mid-2000s and opened in the spring of 2007 after numerous delays.

Mamutica
Mamutica is the largest building (by volume) in Zagreb and Croatia, as well as one of the largest apartment blocks in Europe. This apartment complex was built in 1974 in Eastern Novi Zagreb, in the quarter of Travno. It is the Croatian version of the panelák or plattenbau. The building is about 240 m long, 70 m high and has 20 floors. There are 1,263 apartments in the building, home to about 5,000 people.
