Larnaca District

Stavrovouni Monastery is a Greek Orthodox monastery which stands on the top of a hill called Stavrovouni in Cyprus. The monastery is one of the places that there is piece of the Holy Cross, and it is sometimes also known simply as Stavrovouni.

Louroujina Salient

The Louroujina Salient (Greek: Λoυρoυκivα, Turkish: Akıncılar, also known as Lurucina) marks the southernmost extent of North Cyprus. It is named after the Turkish Cypriot village of Louroujina. Akıncılar was one of the biggest Turkish Cypriot villages in Cyprus before the division of the island.

Aradhippou
