Arodhes

Arodhes is a village in the North West of Cyprus close to the Akamas peninsula. It is about 23 km from the town of Paphos. Arodhes is composed of two smaller settlements; Pano Arodhes (mainly Greek Cypriot) and Kato Arodhes (previously mainly Turkish Cypriot). In 1975 (a year after the Turkish invasion of Cyprus), Kato Arodhes was abandoned and many of the buildings fell into disrepair.

Miliou

Miliou is a village on the island of Cyprus. On the road from Paphos to Polis, about 13 km before you reach Polis, there is a turning on the left which will take you to the little village of Miliou nestling on the Laona plateau. Right next door to the springs is the restored monastery of 'Agii Anargyri which is now being used as a spa hotel. The monastery was built in 1649 and is said to be one of the first ever on the island.

Peyia Municipal Stadium

Peyia Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Peyia, Cyprus. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of APOP Kinyras Peyias FC. The stadium holds 3,828 people and the municipality of Peyia expects to extend the gradines so the capacity will reach the 7.500 people.

Stroumbi

Stroumbi is a small village in the heart of Paphos District and exactly in the middle of the distance between Paphos and Polis. The name of the village is said to be coming from its founder, a man called "Stroumpos" or by the view of the mountains around the village (stroumpoula - rounded). The village is well known for the annual "Dionysia" wine festival taking place at the end of August, named after Dionysos the ancient Greek god of wine..
