Cheb Airport

Cheb Airport (in Czech Letiště Cheb) is the oldest airport on area of the Czech Republic. It is located 4,5 km from city of Cheb. The airport was built during the World War I to serve needs of the Austro-Hungarian Army. In 1918, when Czechoslovakia was created, it was the only working airport in the country. The first airplanes for the newly formed Czechoslovakian Army were obtained from the airport. Later, the army set up a pilot training center next to the airport.

Fleißenbach

Fleißenbach is a river of Czechia and Germany. It is 29,1 kilometers long and it is a tributary of Ohře. Its source is located in Czechia, near Horní Paseky, on the southern slope of the Stráž mountain. It crosses the Czech-German border into Germany and then re-enters Czechia near Bad Brambach. Its confluence with Ohře lies southwest of Nebanice.
