Roštín

Roštín is a village in the Kroměříž District of the Czech Republic. The first written mention of this village dates to the 12th century. About 700 people live in Roštín. 1250 village was under the rule of a monastery. In the 14th century, the village was in the property of Vladyk's family of Roštín. There were many owners of this village throughout the centuries. There was also a note of a spa existence in 1489. 1504 – 1566 Roštín belonged to village of Cetechovice.

Central Moravian Carpathians

The Central Moravian Carpathians are mountain ranges within the Czech Republic belonging to the Outer Western Carpathians. Despite the name, they stand in southern Moravia, east of Brno. These ranges are mostly forested, planted with beech and spruce trees. It is one of the most important agricultural areas for wine grapes, apricots and peaches, and vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers.

Chřiby

Chřiby (known in German as Marsgebirge, the "Mars Mountains") is a geographic region of the Czech Republic, part of the Central Moravian Carpathians of the Outer Western Carpathians. The area is a 335 square kilometer nature park and tourist park, offering a variety of natural features, rock formations, and historical monuments.

Kroměříž Archbishop's Palace

The Kroměříž Palace (German: Schloss Kremsier, Czech: Zámek Kroměříž or Arcibiskupský zámek) in Kroměříž, Czech Republic, used to be the principal residence of the bishops and (since 1777) archbishops of Olomouc. The first residence on the site was founded by bishop Stanislas Thurzo in 1497. The building was in a Late Gothic style, with a modicum of Renaissance detail. During the Thirty Years' War, the castle was sacked by the Swedish army (1643).
