Tisvilde

Tisvilde is a small town with a population of 1,531 (1 January 2011) located on the north coast of the island Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark 60 km north of Copenhagen. Tisvildeleje is the coastal part of the area known as Tisvilde. "Leje" roughly translates as 'plain' and used to be a fishermans village. Now most of the fishermen's houses are used as charming summer residences.

Gribskov Municipality

Gribskov Kommune is a municipality in Region Hovedstaden ("Capital Region"). The municipality covers an area of 278 km², and has a total population of 40,512 (2008). The municipality was created on 1 January 2007 as a merger of former municipalities of Græsted-Gilleleje and Helsinge. Its mayor as of 2010 is Jan Ferdinandsen, a member of the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti) political party.

Helsinge, Denmark

Helsinge is the municipal seat of Gribskov municipality in Region Hovedstaden on Zealand in Denmark with a population of 7,881 (1 January 2011). The town was years ago elected the ugliest town in Denmark by a journalist from national television, Peter Olesen, which is why among its inhabitants it have the popular name Hæslinge (Hæslig=ugly).

Helsinge

Until 1 January 2007, Helsinge was a municipality in Frederiksborg County on the north coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. It had a total population of 19,473 (2005), but in the summer months the population grew to over 36.000 people. Its last mayor was Claus Lange, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Helsinge.
