Falster

Falster is an island in south-eastern Denmark with an area of 514 km² (198 sq. miles) and 43,398 inhabitants as of 1 January 2010. Located in the Baltic sea, it is part of Region Sjælland (County of Zealand) and is administered by Guldborgsund Municipality. Falster includes Denmark's southernmost point, Gedser Odde, near Gedser. The largest town is Nykøbing Falster with over 40% of the island's inhabitants. Other towns include Stubbekøbing, Nørre Alslev and Gedser.

Horbelev

Horbelev is a village some 16 kilometres northeast of Nykøbing on the Danish island of Falster. Horbelev Church, one of Falster's oldest, dates from the beginning of the 13th century. As of 2012, Horbelev has a population of 595.

Orupgaard

Orupgaard is a manor house located 6 kilometres east of Nykøbing and 3 kilometres north of Idestrup on the Danish island of Falster. With a history dating from the 13th century, Orupgaard today manages over 1,200 hectares of farmland and forest as well as an equestrian facility at Brændte Ege Avlsgaard.

Tingsted Church

Tingsted Church, located on high ground in the village of Tingsted on the Danish island of Falster, dates from c. 1200. Built in the Romanesque style, it is best known for its frescos from the end of the 15th century.
