Enø

Enø is a small Danish island off the west coast of Zealand between Karrebæk Fjord and Karrebæksminde Bugt. With an area of 3.4 km, as of 1 January 2010 it has a population of 297. It is some 5 km long and up to 11 meters above sea level. Now part of Næstved Municipality, it is connected to Karrebæksminde, Zealand, by a road bridge. There are about 1,000 summerhouses and a holiday centre at Enø By on the northern part of the island.

Naestved Municipality

Næstved is a municipality in Region Sjælland on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in the south of Denmark. The municipality includes the island of Gavnø. It covers an area of 681 km², and has a total population of 80,732 (2008). Its mayor is Henning Jensen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Næstved.

Glænø

Glænø is a small Danish island off the west coast of Zealand between Basnæs Nor and Karrebæksminde Bugt. With an area of 5.6 km, as of 1 January 2010 it has a population of 57. Now part of Slagelse Municipality, it is connected to Stubberup, Zealand, by road over a dam some 100 meters long. Agriculture is the island's main source of income and there are several farms at the centre of the island. Glænø has a sandy beach, a bird sanctuary and offers opportunities for walking and angling.

St. Agnes' Priory, Gavnø

St. Agnes Priory was established by Queen Margaret I for a community of Dominican nuns at Gavnø Island. After the Danish Reformation the priory was transformed into a manor estate known as Gavnø Castle located near Næstved, Denmark.
