Roskilde Airport

Roskilde Airport, officially known as Copenhagen Airport, Roskilde (Danish: Københavns Lufthavn, Roskilde), is located 4 nautical miles (7 km) southeast of Roskilde near the town Tune. It was opened in 1973 as the first of three planned relief airports around Copenhagen. These plans were shelved shortly after, and the two other relief airports never made it past the planning stage.

Jersie

Jersie or Jersie Strand is a suburb 32 kilometres south-west of central Copenhagen and form the southern part of the Solrød Strand urban area. Solrød Municipality

Solrød is a municipality in Region Sjælland on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in east Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 40 km², and has a total population of 20,759 (2008). Its mayor is Niels Hörup, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The municipal seat is Solrød Strand.

Roskilde Festival

Roskilde Festival is a festival held south of Roskilde in Denmark and is one of the six biggest annual music festivals in Europe. It was created in 1971 by two high school students, Mogens Sandfær and Jesper Switzer Møller, and promoter Carl Fischer. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism.
