Tølløse Municipality

Until 1 January 2007, Tølløse municipality was a municipality in the northeastern part of the former West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 126 km², and had a total population of 9,832 (2005). Its last mayor was Poul Erik Jensen, a member of the Danish Social Liberal Party (Det Radikale Venstre) political party. The main town and the site of its former municipal council was the town of Tølløse.

Munkholm Bridge

Munkholm Bridge is a primitive white arched bridge over Isefjord by Bramsnæsvig. The very simple construction is almost spartan provocative and gives the old viaduct with time a modern cut. The 114 metre long bridge is made of reinforced concrete with steel hanging rods.

Store Merløse

Store Merløse is a town on Sjælland in Denmark with a population of 1,205 (1 January 2012). It is part of the municipality of Holbæk and close to Tølløse and Ringsted. It is a calm town with a primary school and a few businesses. For high school most people go to Tølløse. There is a local train from Vestsjællands Lokalbaner that will take you from Store Merløse to Tølløse or Slagelse.

Danish Tramway Museum

The Danish Tramway Museum is a museum placed in Jystrup, Denmark, between Ringsted and Hvalsø. It is close to the estate Skjoldenæsholm and it often referred to as The Tramway Museum of Skjoldenæsholm. The museum opened on May 26, 1978 and is today driven by Sporvejshistorisk Selskab. The exhibition contains numerous buses, trams, locomotives, and other materials concerning public transport.

Bramsnæs

Until January 1, 2007, Bramsnæs was a municipality in Roskilde County on the island of Zealand in east Denmark. The municipality, lying between Roskilde Fjord and Isefjord, covered an area of 80 km², and had a total population of 9,391 (2005). Its last mayor was Flemming Jensen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Kirke Hyllinge. To the east is Roskilde Fjord and to the west is Isefjord.
