Equatorial Guinea,, officially the Republic of Equatorial Guinea,, is a country located in Middle Africa. With an area of 28,000 square kilometres Equatorial Guinea is one of the smallest countries in continental Africa. It has two parts, an insular and a mainland region. The insular region consists of the islands of Bioko (formerly Fernando Pó) in the Gulf of Guinea and Annobón, a small volcanic island south of the equator.

Mbini

Mbini is a town in Rio Muni, Equatorial Guinea, lying at the mouth of the Benito River. Mbini is the Ndowe name for Rio Muni. It is located 44km southwest of Bata. As of 1994, the population was around 14000 and the city is linked by ferry with Bolondo. The town is known for its seafood and for nearby beaches.
