Kaavinjärvi is a lake in eastern Finland. The surface area of the lake is approximately 21 square kilometres (8 sq mi). Kaavinjärvi is situated in the municipality of Kaavi. Kaavinjärvi means (in Finnish) lake of Kaavi. In language of Sami (also spelled Sámi or Saami) the word kaavi means boat harbour. Kaavinjärvi is 101 metres (331 ft) above the sea level. The Kaavinkoski Canal flows from Kaavinjärvi to Rikkavesi.

Saunalahti, Espoo
Saunalahti or Bastvik is one of the newest apartment building districts in Espoo, Finland, located by the Kummelivuori hill between Kivenlahti and Kurttila, west of the Kauklahdenväylä road, on the coast of the Espoonlahti bay. The bay at Saunalahti is named Bastvikfjärden. The area also contains original detached house residence from old Saunalahti and agriculture. Saunalahti is separated from Kivenlahti by the Länsiväylä highway, continuing to Kirkkonummi as Jorvaksentie.

Rikkavesi is a lake in eastern Finland. At approximately 63 square kilometres (24 sq mi), it is the 66th largest lake in Finland. Rikkavesi is situated in the municipalities of Kaavi, Outokumpu and Tuusniemi. Rikkavesi is 101 metres (331 ft) above the sea level. Kaavinjärvi and Rikkavesi are connected by the Kaavinkoski Canal. Ohtaansalmi strait flows from Rikkavesi to Juojärvi. There is a marked shipping route from Saimaa to Rikkavesi.
