Rikkavesi

Rikkavesi is a lake in eastern Finland. At approximately 63 square kilometres (24 sq mi), it is the 66th largest lake in Finland. Rikkavesi is situated in the municipalities of Kaavi, Outokumpu and Tuusniemi. Rikkavesi is 101 metres (331 ft) above the sea level. Kaavinjärvi and Rikkavesi are connected by the Kaavinkoski Canal. Lintula Holy Trinity Convent

Lintula Holy Trinity Convent or Lintula Convent (Finnish: Lintulan Pyhän Kolminaisuuden luostari or Lintulan luostari) is a small Orthodox Christian convent located in Palokki, Heinävesi, Finland, close to the New Valamo Monastery. The monastery was founded in 1895 on the isthmus of Karelia, in the parish of Kivennapa. In 1946, the Convent moved to Heinävesi.

Kaavinjärvi means (in Finnish) lake of Kaavi. In language of Sami (also spelled Sámi or Saami) the word kaavi means boat harbour. Kaavinjärvi is 101 metres (331 ft) above the sea level. The Kaavinkoski Canal flows from Kaavinjärvi to Rikkavesi.
