Ullava is a former municipality of Finland. Ullava was condolidated with the city of Kokkola on 2009-01-01. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Ostrobothnia region. The former municipality had a population of 1,037 (2003) and covered an area of 177.03 km² of which 14.35 km² was water. The population density was 6.4 inhabitants per km². The former municipality was unilingually Finnish.

Kaustinen Folk Music Festival
Kaustinen Folk Music Festival, celebrated yearly in July in Kaustinen, Finland, is the biggest folk music and dance festival in the Nordic countries. It was first celebrated in 1968. In its first year, the festival expected 6,000 visitors. The number was over three times the estimate, though. Nowadays the festival lasts nine days and is visited by over 100,000 people. There are over 3,000 performers from Finland and other countries every year.
