Château de Marly
The Château de Marly was a relatively small French royal residence located in what has become Marly-le-Roi, the commune that existed at the edge of the royal park. The town that originally grew up to service the château is now a dormitory community for Paris. At the Château of Marly, Louis XIV of France escaped from the formal rigors he was constructing at Versailles.

Château de Monte-Cristo
The Château de Monte-Cristo is the country house of the writer Alexandre Dumas, père, built in 1846 in the English garden-style by the architect Hippolyte Durand in Port-Marly, Yvelines, France. Dumas named it after one of his most successful novels. Durand also built a writing studio on the grounds; Dumas named it Château d'If after another setting from his novels. In 1848, short of money, Dumas had to sell the property.

The Musée départemental Maurice Denis "The Priory" is a museum dedicated to Nabi art located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, in the Parisian region. The museum is named for Maurice Denis, a French symbolist Nabi painter. The museum showcases his work as well as that of many other members of the school; it is the largest collection of Nabi art in France. The Musée départemental Maurice Denis, or MDMD, was created in 1976 by the Conseil général of the Yvelines, the department in which it is located.

Château de Louveciennes
The Château de Louveciennes in Louveciennes, in the Yvelines département of France, is composed of the château itself, constructed at the end of the 17th century. It was then expanded and redecorated by Ange-Jacques Gabriel for Madame du Barry in the 18th century, and the music (or reception) pavilion was constructed by Claude Nicolas Ledoux (1770–71). The pavilion sits in the middle of a park that was designed in the 19th century.

Machine de Marly
The machine de Marly, also widely known as the Marly machine and the machine of Marly, was a French engineering marvel completed in 1684. King Louis XIV needed a large water supply for his fountains at Versailles. The amount of water needed per day for these fountains was not much less than the amount of water used per day in the city of Paris.
