Saint-Pons-de-Thomières Cathedral

Saint-Pons-de-Thomières Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Pons de Saint-Pons-de-Thomières) is a former Roman Catholic cathedral, and national monument of France, in Saint-Pons-de-Thomières. It was formerly the seat of the Bishopric of Saint-Pons, founded like a number of bishoprics in the region in the aftermath of the suppression of the Albigensians.

Thoré

The Thoré is a 61.7 km long river in the Hérault and Tarn départements, southwestern France. Its source is in the northern part of Rieussec. It flows generally northwest. It is a left tributary of the Agout into which it flows between Navès and Castres.

Cesse Aqueduct

Cesse Aqueduct (French: Pont-Canal de la Cesse) is one of several aqueducts, or water bridge, created for the Canal du Midi. Originally, the canal crossed the Cesse on the level. Pierre-Paul Riquet, the original architect of the canal, had placed a curved dam 205 metres long and 9.10 metres high across the Cesse in order to collect water to make the crossing possible; the aqueduct replaced this dam.
