Serrabone Priory

Serrabone Priory (French: Prieuré de Serrabone; Catalan: Santa Maria de Serrabona) is a former monastery of Canons Regular in the commune of Boule-d'Amont, in Pyrénées-Orientales. The priory is located in a wild and beautiful area in the valley of the Boulès in the heart of an oak forest, at the centre of the Aspres mountain range on the eastern foothills of the Canigou, about 30 km from Perpignan.

Conflent

Conflent is a historical Catalan comarca of Northern Catalonia, now part of the French Département of Pyrénées-Orientales. In the Middle Ages it comprised the County of Conflent. The capital of this pays is Prades (Catalan: Prada de Conflent), and it borders the pays of Capcir, Rosselló, Vallespir, Alta Cerdanya and Ripollès, and the Occitan-speaking pays of Fenolleda. It roughly corresponds to the valley of the Têt River and its neighbourhoods between Rodès and Mont-Louis.

Château de Belpuig

The Château de Belpuig is a ruined castle in the commune of Prunet-et-Belpuig in the Pyrénées-Orientales département of France. Situated a 15 minutes walk from the village, the castle occupies a strategic position on a rocky spur overlooking the surrounding countryside. The extensive panorama takes in the mountain ranges of Canigou, the Albères, the Corbières and the coast of Languedoc and Roussillon.
