Battle of Clavijo

The Battle of Clavijo was a legendary sham battle that didn´t take place, reportedly fought near Clavijo between the Christians led by Ramiro I of Asturias, who didn´t actually rule on that period, and the Muslims led by the Emir of Córdoba. Saint James the Great, known to Spaniards as Santiago Matamoros (the Moor-slayer) out of this story, was for centuries claimed to have aided a vastly outnumbered Christian army.

Molló

Molló is a town and municipality in the comarca of Ripollès in Girona, Catalonia, Spain, located in the Pyrenees, by the French border. Molló borders to the north with Prats de Molló (in Vallespir, France, connected by the Coll d'Ares pass of the Pyrenees), to the east and south with Camprodon, and to the west with Llanars and Setcases.

Ter (river)

The Ter is a river in Catalonia (northeastern of the Iberian Peninsula) that rises in Ulldeter at an approximate altitude of 2400 meters, at the foot of a glacial cirque delimited by the nearby peaks of el Bastiments, el Gra de Fajol, or el Pic de la Dona. It runs through the comarques of Ripollès, Osona, Selva, Gironès, and Baix Empordà, discharging into the Mediterranean Sea at l'Estartit.

Martin-du-Canigou

Martin-du-Canigou (also "Saint-Martin-du-Canigou" or just "Canigou", in Catalan Sant Martí del Canigó) is a monastery built in 1009 in the Pyrenees on Canigou mountain in present day southern France near the Spanish border. Pablo Casals wrote a composition entitled "Sant Marti Del Canigo" for Orchestra.
