Maury AOC
Maury is an Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) for fortified vin doux naturel wines made in the Roussillon wine region of France. Almost all wines are red, made from at least 75% Grenache Noir (Garnacha). Other permitted grapes are Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Macabeu (Macabeo), Malvoisie du Roussillon (Tourbat), Syrah, Muscat and other local varieties. Although the grapes are different, they are used and marketed very like port.

Puilaurens Castle
The Château de Puilaurens is one of the so-called Cathar castles in what is now the South of France. It is located in the commune of Lapradelle-Puilaurens in the Aude département. The castle stands on a spur of rock above the Boulzane Valley and the villages of Lapradelle and Puilaurens. There is a path from Axat to the castle. The castle here had belonged to the Abbey of Saint-Michel de Cuxa before it was acquired by the Queen of Aragon in 1162.

Peyrepertuse
Peyrepertuse (or Pierre Pertuse) is a ruined fortress and one of the so-called Cathar castles located high in the French Pyrénées in the commune of Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse, in the Aude département, and has been associated with the Counts of Narbonne and Barcelona. It stands at 800m high. The name of Peyrepetuse derived from the ancient language called Occitan and means Pierced Rock.

Corbiac
Corbiac is a historic chapel and former monastery located in the French Pyrenees between the villages of Molitg-les-Bains and Mosset. Its Gothic chapel was built in the 13th century with a single nave and equipped with a gallery from the late 16th century, and an apse decorated with frescoes from the 17th. At the end of the 16th century, the Trinitarian Order founded a monastery here. Several objects originating from the chapel are now preserved in the church at Mosset.

Château de Quéribus
The Château de Quéribus (in Occitan Castèl de Queribús) is a ruined castle in the commune of Cucugnan in the Aude département of France. It has been listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1907. Queribus is one of the "Five Sons of Carcassonne", along with Aguilar, Peyrepertuse, Termes and Puilaurens: five castles strategically placed to defend the French border against the Spanish, until the border was moved in 1659.
