Viaur

Gare de Carmaux

Carmaux is a railway station in Carmaux, Midi-Pyrénées, France. The station opened in 1906. It is situated on the Toulouse to Rodez railway line. The station is served by Lunéa (night train) and TER (local) services. The original station opened on 9 November 1857.

Vère

The Vère is a 53.3 km long river in the Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne départements, southwestern France. Its source is at Taïx. It flows generally west-northwest. It is a left tributary of the Aveyron into which it flows at Bruniquel.

Château de Najac

Château de Najac or the royal fortress of Najac is located in Najac, in the Aveyron département, in southern France. The castle was built in 1253 by the villagers on the orders of Alphonse de Poitiers, brother of Saint Louis, on the site of an older castle (a square tower) built in 1100 by Bertrand of St Gilles, son of Raymond IV, count of Toulouse.
