The Cave of Niaux is located in Niaux in the Ariège département of south-western France. Like Lascaux it contains many prehistoric paintings of superior quality, in the case of Niaux from the Magdalenian period. The Mancomunidad de la Comarca de Pamplona is a community of municipalities of the Pamplona metropolitan area, whose functions are water supply and sewage treatment, waste management, metropolitan public transportation, taxi and the Arga metropolitan park. Historically, it was born as Mancomunidad de Aguas de la Comarca de Pamplona in 1982 in order to provide water services. It changed its name when the entity began to manage waste in 1987.

Plateau de Beille

Plateau de Beille is a ski resort in the Pyrenees. It is situated in the Ariège department, in the Midi-Pyrénées. The winter sports station lies at a height of 1,790 metres . The ski station is located between Tarascon-sur-Ariège and Ax-les-Thermes, close to the Spanish border. The ski slopes are at between 1,650 and 2,000 metres (and ft). The station is the most important in the Pyrenees for cross-country skiing.
