Lashkendar
Lashkendar (Lashkendari) is a mountain in the Tkvarcheli district of Abkhazia. Its main summit is 1,373 m high. The mountain is one of the seven shrines of the Abkhaz people. There are also ruins of a Christian temple on one of its lesser summits (945 m) featuring bas-reliefs of leopards (or possibly dogs). The date of its construction is disputed with estimates ranging from 7th to 11th century.

Kodori Valley
The Kodori Valley (also known as the Kodori Gorge, Abkhaz: Кәыдырҭа; Georgian: კოდორის ხეობა; Russian: Кодорское ущелье) is a river valley in Abkhazia, Georgia's breakaway autonomous republic. The valley's upper part, populated by Svans, was the only corner of the post-1993 Abkhazia, directly controlled by the central Georgian government, which since 2006 officially styles the area as Upper Abkhazia (Geo. ზემო აფხაზეთი, Zemo Abkhazeti).
