Chanistsqali

The Chanistsqali is a river in the historic Mengrelia province of western Georgia. It flows through the town Tsalenjikha, and passes through the districts Tsalenjikha, Chkhorotsqu, Zugdidi and Khobi. It discharges into the river Khobistsqali near the village Narazeni, north of the town Khobi.

Narazeni

Narazeni is a village in Georgia situated 17 km east of Zugdidi. The village has a population of 38,550. In the village there are three schools, a kindergarten, ambulance, police, and a few shops. The Chanistskali River flows through the village. During the Soviet period, Narazeni was a farming village. There were tea plantations, fruit gardens, and mandarine plantations. Presently, the head of the village is Zamir Janjgava (2009-). The village is partly mountainous.

Senaki

Senaki is a town in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, western Georgia. It is located at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:42|16|8|N|42|4|45|E| |primary |name= }}. From 1935 to 1976 it was called Tskhakaya in honor of the Georgian Bolshevik revolutionary leader Mikhail Tskhakaya. The Second Brigade of the Georgian Army is stationed near Senaki. Senaki was the center of the Georgia military mutiny of 1998. The town was also the site of a battle during the 2008 South Ossetia war.

Zugdidi Botanical Garden

Zugdidi Botanical Garden (Georgian: ზუგდიდის ბოტანიკური ბაღი), Zugdidi branch of Central Botanical Garden administered by the Georgian Academy of Sciences; was built in the late 19th century by the prince of Samegrelo David Dadiani, near his residence. The garden now has over eighty genus of exotic plants introduced from southeast Asia, India, Japan, Mediterranean and the Americas.
