Battle of Drakenburg
The Battle of Drakenburg (German: Schlacht bei Drakenburg) took place on 23 May 1547 to the north of Nienburg, between the Protestant army of the Schmalkaldic League and the imperial troops of Eric II, Duke of Calenberg. It resulted in an imperial defeat. Eric was forced to swim over the Weser River to save his own life. As a consequence, the imperial troops left northern Germany, contributing to freedom of religion for Lutherans and Catholics in northern Germany.

County of Wölpe
The County of Wölpe was the territorial lordship of a noble family in the Middle Ages in the Middle Weser Region near Nienburg/Weser which folded in 1302. The seat of the counts of Wölpe was the castle site at Erichshagen-Wölpe on the Wölpe stream in the borough of Nienburg in north Germany. The castle itself no longer exists.

Giebichenstein
The Giebichenstein in Stöckse, Germany, is one of the biggest erratic blocks of Northern Germany. A picture of the Giebichenstein is part of the emblem of Stöckse. There is the supposition, while during Wolstonian Stage the stone was deposited by glaciers as a part of a moraine. Near Giebichenstein there are rests of a dolmen, and at the stone there are rests of a stone age's hunter's camp.
