Ebstorf Abbey

Ebstorf Abbey is a former Benedictine monastery of nuns. Today it serves as a German convent, or residence for women, near the Lower Saxon town of Uelzen.

Wessenstedt

Wessenstedt is located in the Lüneburg Heath, is a quarter of Natendorf having about 150 inhabitants and belongs to Altes Amt Ebstorf of district Uelzen, Lower Saxony. Wessenstedt is known for the discovery of a nearby Urnfield. The pottery has been used as an archeological marker corresponding to the Iron Age period known otherwise as Hallstatt "C". However, unlike Hallstatt, this site is not considered Celtic and rather Germanic instead.

Uelzen station

The Uelzen station is a crossing station in Uelzen at the eastern edge of the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park in northeastern Lower Saxony. The original station was renovated for Expo 2000 following plans by the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. As an "environmentally culturally oriented" station, the Uelzen station is now marketed as the Hundertwasser-Bahnhof Uelzen (Hundertwasser Station, Uelzen). Today it is one of the town's popular tourist attractions.

Bevensen-Ebstorf

Bevensen-Ebstorf is a Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Uelzen, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its seat is in the town Bad Bevensen. It was formed on 1 November 2011 by the merger of the former Samtgemeinden Bevensen and Altes Amt Ebstorf.
