Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (also known as Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in English, or nicknamed MeckPomm) is a federal state in northern Germany. The capital city is Schwerin. The state was formed through the merger of the historic regions of Mecklenburg and Vorpommern after World War II, dissolved in 1952 and recreated prior to the German reunification in 1990. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the sixth largest German state by territory, and the least densely populated one.

The Melzer See or Melzersee is a lake at Waren in Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The Melzer See lies on the northeastern perimeter of the town of Waren (Müritz). It has an area of 12.9 hectares and lies at an elevation of 63 m above sea level. Its maximum dimensions are 670 by 260 metres.

Weinberg House (Waren)

Weinberg House is a historicist villa at Bahnhofstraße 26 in the town of Waren (Müritz) in the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Despite subsequent modifications the house is one of the sights of the town. It is known in German as Schloss Weinberg, or colloquially as the Weinbergschloss.
