Marienkirche, Neubrandenburg

Marienkirche (St. Mary's Church), a hall church in the North German red brick Gothic style, completed in 1298, was the main church of the city of Neubrandenburg. It has been transformed into a concert hall, designed by Pekka Salminen, which opened in 2001.

14th Panzergrenadier Division (Bundeswehr)

The 14th Panzergrenadier Division (14. Panzergrenadierdivision) was a German mechanized infantry formation. It was part of the Multinational Corps Northeast, a NATO corps that includes German, Polish, and Danish troops. In the wake of military restructuring aimed at reducing the size of the German land forces, the 14th Panzergrenadier Division was disbanded in 2008.

Neubrandenburg Regional Museum

The Neubrandenburg Regional Museum was formed in 1872 at the initiative of the Neubrandenburg Museum Society (Neubrandenburger Museumsvereins) founded for that purpose. The catchment area and operation of the museum, whose name changed several times in the course of history, was regionally oriented from the start. In 1873 the society opened a permanent exhibition on the history of the region in the main tower of the Treptow Gate (Treptower Tor) in Neubrandenburg.
