Lauterbach (Rügen)
Lauterbach is a village in the borough of Putbus on the German Baltic Sea island of Rügen. The village has a population of about 500 and lies southeast of Putbus on the Bay of Greifswald. Lauterbach has a harbour and a connexion, via a branch line, to both the standard gauge railway network and the Rügen Light Railway.

Wreecher See
The Wreecher See is a cove, southwest of the town of Putbus on the German Baltic Sea island of Rügen. The bay is named after the village of Wreechen on its eastern shore. On its southern shore are the settlements of Glowitz and Neukamp. This body of water, which is designated as a nature reserve, has an area of 77 hectares and is part of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve. Within that reserve it lies within Conservation zone II (a maintained zone).

Prussia Columns
The Prussia Columns are two monuments, over 15 metres high, that were erected in the years 1854 and 1855 by order of the Prussian king, Frederick William IV on the southeast coast of the German island of Rügen near Neukamp and Groß Stresow. Both villages are today part of the municipality of Putbus. The monument near Neukamp was inaugurated on 15 October 1854 and the one near Groß Stresow exactly one year later, on the 60th birthday of Frederick William IV.

Rugard
The Rugard, at 91 m above sea level, is the highest elevation in the central region of the German Baltic Sea island of Rügen. This push end moraine was formed in the last ice age and lies on the northeastern perimeter of the town of Bergen auf Rügen. There was probably a castle here from the 9th century to the year 1325 A.D. , in which princes of the Slavic Rani tribe resided. These princes ruled Rügen and parts of the adjacent mainland. The Slavic name Rugard dates to that period.

St. Boniface's Church, Bergen
The Church of St. Boniface in Bergen auf Rügen ist the seat of the only Roman Catholic parish on the German island of Rügen. Other churches in the parish are the Chapel of Stella Maris in Binz, the Church of the Sacred Heart in Garz/Rügen and Stella Maris in Sellin. The parish is the northernmost in the Archdiocese of Berlin and has about 1,700 members.
