The Business and Information Technology School (BiTS Iserlohn) is a private state approved university of applied science based in Iserlohn. The BiTS Iserlohn was founded in 2000 and currently approx. 1.000 students are enrolled in 7 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate programs. In 2008 The US-American education services company Laureate Education bought 76% of the shares.
