Ven-Zelderheide
Ven-Zelderheide is a town in the southeast Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Gennep, Limburg. In 2011 the population reached just over 800. The town has a typical linear geography with most of its residences situated along its two main roads; the Kleefseweg and the Vensestraat. In the southwest, Ven-Zelderheide is bordered by the town Ottersum, and in northeast it is bordered by Germany. A windmill called; Rest after Labor is situated at the Kleefseweg.

Ottersum
Ottersum is a town in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Gennep, and lies about 17 km southeast of Nijmegen. Ottersum was a separate municipality until 1973, when it was merged with Gennep. In 2001, Ottersum had 1568 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.33 km², and contained 596 residences.

Bleijenbeek
Bleijenbeek is a small hamlet in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Bergen, about 2 km east of Afferden. The main building in the hamlet is the ruin of Castle Bleijenbeek. According to the 19th century historian A.J. van der Aa, the castle is known for the numerous sieges by the armies of Guelders and Spain.

Kasteel Bleijenbeek
Bleijenbeek Castle is situated in the small hamlet of Bleijenbeek in the Dutch province of Limburg. The castle has been a ruin since the bombardment by the Allies on 21 and 22 February 1945. According to the 19th century historian A.J. van der Aa, the castle is known for its numerous sieges by the armies of Guelders and Spain. In 1580, the castle was besieged by the forces of Guelders, but it was defended bravely by the lord of the castle, Marten Schenk.
