Dreiborn Plateau

The Dreiborn Plateau is an area of woods and open terrain, some 33 square kilometres in area, in the Eifel National Park. It corresponds to the area of the Vogelsang Military Training Area which was handed back on 31 December 2005 and had been out-of-bounds to the public since 1 September 1946. Since 2006 parts of the area have been opened up to the public who may use certain routes through it.

Baraque Michel

The Baraque Michel is a locality in the municipality Jalhay, in the High Fens, eastern Belgium. Before the annexation of the Eastern Cantons by Belgium in 1919, it was the highest point of Belgium. Now it is the third highest point at 674 m, after the nearby Signal de Botrange (694 m) and the Weißer Stein . The Baraque itself is an inn and the starting point of many excursions.
