Düsseldorf-Lohausen

Lohausen is an urban borough in the north of Düsseldorf, in neighbourhood to Stockum, Kaiserswerth, Unterrath, Wittlaer, the river Rhine and Ratingen. The airport of Düsseldorf is in Lohausen. Lohausen was written mentioned first time in 1147. It was one of the seats of the Knights of Kalcheim . Lohausen was a farming settlement for a long while. In the 19. century an industrialist bought the Castle of the Knights of Kalcheim and created a park.

Düsseldorf-Kalkum

Kalkum is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It is in the north of the city, neighboring to Kaiserswerth, Angermund, Wittlaer and Ratingen. Kalkum has been existing latest since the 12th century A.C.. The old church of Kalkum and the old mill are from that century. The Castle Kalkum was in earlier times the seat of the Hatzfelds. Before that castle was built, there was another castle from the middle age. Actually there is the state archive of North Rhine-Westphalia in the castle.

Rheinstadion

The Rheinstadion was a multi-purpose stadium, in Düsseldorf, Germany. The stadium was built, near the Rhine, in 1926 and held 55,900 people, at the end of its life. It was the home ground for Fortuna Düsseldorf from 1953–1970 and 1972–2002. It was used during the 1988 European Championships. In 1995, the Rhein Fire, of the World League of American Football became tenants in their inaugural season.
