Hagen-Rummenohl

Rummenohl, now officially Hagen-Rummenohl, is a locality within the independent city of Hagen in the eastern part of the Ruhr, in Germany. It was incorporated into Hagen in 1975 together with Dahl and Priorei. The first element in the placename, rum- may indicate that in prehistoric times it was a location for fertility rites.

Dahlerau train disaster

The Dahlerau train disaster was a railway accident that took place on May 27, 1971 in Dahlerau, a small town belonging to Radevormwald in West Germany, in which a freight train and a passenger train crashed into each other. Forty-six people perished in the accident; forty-one were senior year pupils of the Geschwister-Scholl-Schule in Radevormwald.

Hagen-Priorei

Priorei (officially Hagen-Priorei) is a small town on the River Volme in the Ruhr district of Germany. Administratively a part of the independent urban district of Hagen since 1975, it is situated some 12 km south of Hagen city centre. Priorei is best known for an ancient tree, believed to be over 1000 years old, the Priorlinde.

Haspe–Voerde–Breckerfeld Light Railway

The Haspe–Voerde–Breckerfeld Light Railway was a narrow-gauge railway linking the cities of Breckerfeld and Voerde with Haspe to the Bergisch-Märkische railway. Construction lasted from 1901 to 1906. The original owners were: The country of Prussia Provinzialverband Westphalia Voerde, formerly a municipality; now belongs to Ennepetal This narrow-gauge railway was 18.39 km (11.43 mi) long and ran 2.4 km (1.5 mi) over publicly owned roads. The majority of the span was sub-graded.
