Langenberg transmission tower
The Langenberg transmission tower (also translated as "Sender Langenberg" or "Transmission Facility Langenberg") is a broadcasting station that transmits MW, FM and TV signals. It is located in Langenberg, Velbert, Germany and has had a very turbulent history since its inauguration. The transmitter first went into service in 1927 with 60 kilowatts (kW) of power and a T-aerial hanging on two 100-metre freestanding steel-frame towers insulated against ground.

Prince William Railway Company
The Prince William Railway Company was the first horse-drawn railway in Germany. It was originally founded as the Deil Valley Railway Company (Deilthaler Eisenbahn Aktiengesellschaft) in 1828 and renamed in 1831. It built a narrow gauge line that ran for a Prussian mile (7,532 metres) along the Deilbach valley from a point near Kupferdreh Old Station in Hinsbeck, a suburb of Kupferdreh (now part of Essen), to Nierenhof near Langenberg (now part of Velbert).

Hattingen (Ruhr) Mitte is a railway station situated in Hattingen in western Germany. It is a terminus station for the S3 line of Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station. The station was opened by Deutsche Bundesbahn on 3 July 1987.

Niederwenigern
Niederwenigern is a small borough of the city of Hattingen in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is about 15 minutes by car from the center of Hattingen along the Ruhr River but closer (about 5 minutes) to Kupferdreh, a part of the town Essen. The population is about 6,000 and before 1970, it was independent. Niederwenigern has a Roman Catholic church, a local landmark, St. Mauritius Cathedral. There is also a Lutheran-Evangelical Protestant church, the faith of most Protestant Christians in Germany.
