Böser Kleef
The Böser Kleef is a rock formation, 440 metres above sea level, near the village of Altenbrak in the district of Harz in central Germany. It is made largely of granite. The Böser Kleef can be reached on foot from several directions including a footpath from Forsthaus Todtenrode. It lies above the Bode valley in woods. Wendefurth Power Station
Wendefurth Power Station is a pumped-storage hydroelectric power station on the reservoir of the Wendefurth Dam near Wendefurth in the Harz mountains of central Germany. The power station has an upper reservoir on the mountain top which stores the water. The two penstocks (Fallrohre) have a diameter of 3.4 m. The installed turbine performance is 80 MW. The pumped-storage facility was built in 1967.

Bode Gorge
The Bode Gorge is a 10 kilometres long ravine that forms part of the Bode valley between Treseburg and Thale in the Harz Mountains of central Germany. The German term, Bodetal (literally "Bode Valley"), is also used in a wider sense to refer to the valleys of the Warme and Kalte Bode rivers that feed the River Bode. At the Bode Gorge, the River Bode, which rises on the highest mountain in the Harz, the Brocken, has cut deeply into the hard Ramberg granite rock.

Roßtrappe
The Roßtrappe is a 403 m high granite crag in the Harz mountains of central Germany. The Roßtrappe rises high over the Bode Gorge in the Harz. It may be reached from Thale by road, on foot or on a chair lift. On the rocks is a mountain hotel with an observation terrace as well as the upper station for the chair lift.
