Eckertal
Eckertal is a hamlet of about 160 inhabitants on the eastern rim of the municipal area of Bad Harzburg in Lower Saxony, just north of the Harz mountain range. Its nearest neighbour is the village of Stapelburg in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Its parish is bordered to the north and west by the Schimmerwald forest and to the east by the River Ecker.

Taubenklippe
The Taubenklippe is a rock formation in the Harz mountains in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. It lies about halfway between Bad Harzburg and Ilsenburg at a height of 572 m above NN on the eastern slopes of the Ecker valley. From the crag there is a good view over Harz Foreland, the heights near Bad Harzburg and the highest mountain in the Har, the Brocken. The Taubenklippe may be reached from the Ecker valley on a footpath, some 6 km long, that starts in Ilsenburg.

Ilsenburg House
Ilsenburg House stands in the town of Ilsenburg (Harz) in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt and was given its present appearance in the 2nd half of the 19th century. The structure was built from 1860 onwards on the west and north sides of the Romanesque monastery of Ilsenburg Abbey. The stately home, designed in the Neo-Romanesque style, was the seat of the princes of Stolberg-Wernigerode until 1945. Since 2005, it has been owned by the Ilsenburg Abbey Foundation.
