Langensee (Holstein)

The Langensee is a lake in the North German lakeland region of Holstein Switzerland. It lies on the River Schwentine between the lakes of Dieksee (upstream) and Behler See (downstream). It covers an area of 33 hectares, is up to 8 metres deep and lies at a height of 22 m above sea level.

Behler See

The Behler See is a lake in the Holstein Switzerland region of North Germany. It lies between Timmdorf to the east and the town of Plön to the west. To the east it transitions into the Langensee, to the west into the Höftsee. All these lakes are crossed from east to west by the River Schwentine. The Behler See is named after the village of Behl in the municipality of Grebin, which lies to the north.

Höftsee

The Höftsee is a lake in the Holstein Switzerland in North Germany. It lies on the River Schwentine east of the town of Plön between the Behler See and the Großer Plöner See. It has an area of about 18 hectares, is up to 16 metres deep and lies about 22 m above sea level. There is a watermill on the Höftsee that makes use of the drop between the Höftsee and the Großer Plöner See. The associated weir is impassable to boats.

Kellersee

The Kellersee is a lake in the Holstein Switzerland region of North Germany. It lies east of the village of Malente on the River Schwentine, has an area of 560 hectares, is up to 27 metres deep and lies at a height of 24 m above sea level. Southeast of the lake is the village of Fissau in the borough of Eutin.
