Kavala International Airport
Kavala International Airport "Alexander the Great" is an airport located in the municipality of Nestos, in Greece. The airport was originally located closer to Kavala, in the installations of the Greek Air Force, near the village of Amygdaleonas, where it began its operations in 1952 as Kavala National Airport. Evlalo is a village and a community in the Xanthi regional unit of Thrace, Greece. The municipal seat of Topeiros, it is located 23 kilometers south-southwest of the city of Xanthi. In 2001, the population was 889 for the village, and 4,463 for the community. The community consists of the villages Evlalo, Dekarcho, Iliokentima, Kremasti, Kyrnos, Mikrochori, Orfani and Palaio Olvio.

Potamia, Thasos
Potamia is a village on the island of Thasos, Greece. It is built in the valley at the foot of Mount Ipsario, and surrounded to the south and east by pine and sweet chestnut forests. Its coastal annexe is the holiday resort of Skala Potamias. Potamia was the birthplace of the Greek-born American sculptor Polygnotos Vagis, and a museum dedicated to his work exists in the village. Etymologically, the name of the village is derived from the streams that run through it.
