Koromilea, Messenia

Koromilea is a village located in the central, mountainous area of Messenia, Greece. It is a settlement of roughly 100 inhabitants, administratively belonging to the municipal unit Trikorfo. The main occupation of the inhabitants, historically, is livestock and mixed farming. Vlachopoulo

Vlachopoulo is the central village of the municipality of Papaflessas in the center of Messenia, Greece. The village is located 38 km from the capital of the prefecture Kalamata and just 20 km from the nearest beach. Vlachopoulo is a rural village, the main products are olives, raisins and grapes. The village is famous for the festival of which every year become the Holy Spirit.

Ithome

Mount Ithome or Ithomi, previously Vourkano or Vurcano before being changed back to Ithome, is the northernmost of twin peaks in Messenia, Greece. Mount Ithome rises to about 800 metres, about 760 metres over Valyra, the seat of Ithomi, the former municipality. The other peak is Mount Eva, 700 metres, connected to Mount Ithomi by a thin ridge 0.80 kilometres long.

Pylos

Pylos, historically known under its Italian name Navarino, is a town and a former municipality in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pylos-Nestoras, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. It was the capital of the former Pylia Province. It is the main harbour on the Bay of Navarino. Nearby villages include Gialova, Pyla, Elaiofyto, Schinolakka, and Palaionero.
