The municipality of El Progreso is located in the Honduran department of Yoro. Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport of San Pedro Sula is located west of the city. To the east of the city is the mountain range of Mico Quemado (Burned Monkey). El Progreso is located at a crossroads. Estadio Humberto Micheletti

Estadio Humberto Micheleti is a multi-use stadium in El Progreso, Honduras. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of C.D. Lenca. The stadium holds 5,000 people and it was built to honor Honduran de facto president Roberto Micheletti's father.

La Lima

La Lima is a municipality in the Honduran department of Cortés. It is home to the corporate headquarters of the Tela Railroad Company, a subsidiary of Chiquita Brand. The city is divided into two cities by river Chamelecon: La Lima Vieja, located on the western side of the River and La Lima Nueva, located on the eastern side of the river.
