Geography of Hong Kong

The geography of Hong Kong primarily consists of three main territories: Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, and the New Territories. The name "Hong Kong", literally meaning "fragrant harbour", is derived from the area around present-day Aberdeen on Hong Kong Island, where fragrant wood products and fragrant incense were once traded. The narrow body of water separating Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Peninsula, Victoria Harbour, is one of the deepest natural maritime ports in the world.

Lin Ma Hang

Lin Ma Hang (蓮麻坑) is a village in the Sha Tau Kok area of Hong Kong and is situated north of the New Territories, next to the Shenzhen river, east of Heung Yuen Wai and west of Hung Fa Leng. It is situated in the Frontier Closed Area is therefore inaccessible to non-permit holders. People originated in the village are the Yip (葉) (or Ip, Yap, Yapp), Lau (劉), Sin (冼) and Koon (官) (or Kwun). It is named after a fruit called Lin Ma (蓮麻) that can be found in the mid-level streams.

Au Ha

Au Ha is a Hakka village and place in north New Territories in Hong Kong. Au Ha is in adjacent to Sha Tau Kok Road (Wo Hang Section) {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:22.52445|114.18790||||||| | |name= }}, a road linking Fanling and Sha Tau Kok. Au means mountain pass in Cantonese and Ha means below. The village is below a pass closer by. Au Ha is in proximity to Wo Hang.

Lung Yeuk Tau

Lung Yeuk Tau (龍躍頭), commonly known as Lung Ku Tau and also called Lung Ling ("Mountain of Dragon") is an area located northeast of Luen Wo Hui in Fanling, New Territories, Hong Kong. Lung Yeuk Tau is home to the Five Wais and Six Tsuens (villages) (五圍六村) of the Tang Clan.
