Vértes Mountains

Vértes is a mountain range in north-western Hungary, in the Central Transdanubian region, between the ranges Bakony and Gerecse. The Vértes Mountains are part of the Transdanubian Mountains. Area of the Vértes occupies 314 km. It is about 30 km long and 11c12 km wide. The average altitude is above sea level is 350 meters, in highest points are 487 m (Nagy-Csákány), 480 m (Körtvélyes) and 479 m (Csóka-hegy). Geologically the Vértes constitute a fairlyuniform structure.

Óbarok

Óbarok and Nagyegyháza villages – until the recent past – never been individual administrative unit. After all, due to the geographical location and the common past of the population of the villages, they must be handled together. Óbarok is a village in the region named Central Transdanubia, situated on the North of Fejér county, 50km from Székesfehérvár, in Hungary. The village is laying between the Gerecse and Vértes mountains, in the Váli Valley. Óbarok was mentioned first in 1365.

Székesfehérvár

Székesfehérvár (usually written as "Szfvár") is a city in central Hungary and is the 9th largest in the country. Located around 65 km southwest of Budapest. It is inhabited by 101,973 people (2010), with 136,995 in the Székesfehérvár Subregion. The city is the centre of Fejér county and the regional centre of Central Transdanubia. In the Middle Ages the city was a royal residence and was one of the most important cities of Hungary.

Oroszlány

Oroszlány (archaic form of oroszlán, means lion; German: Ohreslahn) is a city in Hungary, Komárom-Esztergom county, Central Transdanubia region, located on the North-West flanks of the Vértes Mountains. It has a population of 20.487. The main tourist attraction of the town is the 18th century Camaldolese monastery of Majk.

Ifjabb Ocskay Gábor Ice Hall

Ifjabb Ocskay Gábor Ice Hall is an indoor sporting arena in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. The capacity of the arena is 3,500 people and it opened in 1991. It is home to the Alba Volán Székesfehérvár ice hockey team. The hall's name is taken from Alba Volán's legendary player, Gábor Ocskay, who died in 2009.
