The Piszkéstető Station or Piszkéstető Mountain Station is an observatory in Mátra Mountains, Hungary, first built in 1958. The station is a station of Konkoly Observatory, Budapest. It has IAU codes 461 and 561. The observatory features four telescopes, a 1 m Ritchey–Chrétien telescope since 1974, a 60/90/180 cm Schmidt telescope since 1962 and an 50 cm Cassegrain telescope since 1966 and a 40 cm Ritchey–Chrétien telescope since 2010.

Mátra
Mécanique Aviation Traction or Matra (Mécanique Aviation TRAction) was a French company covering a wide range of activities mainly related to automobile, bicycles, aeronautics and weaponry. In 1994, it became a subsidiary of the Lagardère Group and now operates under that name. Matra was owned by the Floirat family.
