Aritar, Sikkim

Aritar a region in East Sikkim of India under Rongli Sub-Division, is known for its natural and landscaped beauty. It is located on the edge of the Himalayas, and can be reached in about four hours' drive from Gangtok via either Pakyong or Rangpo. Isolated from the rest of the state, on the far eastern border of Sikkim and bounded by Mt. Kanchendzonga, the region is characterized by lush forest, mountains and rivers.

Lake Menmecho

Menmecho Lake is a mountain lake located in East Sikkim district in the state of Sikkim, India. It lies on the way to the Jelepla Pass and is situated at a distance of 20 kilometres ahead of the Tsongmo Lake. It is the source of the river Rangpo chu, a tributary of the River Teesta. The waters of the lake are sourced by melting snow in summer, and the monsoons in the rainly season. The lake is famous for its trout, and has a large fishfarm nearby with a guesthouse.

Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan

The Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan is the central bank of Bhutan and is a member of the Asian Clearing Union. It is also the minting authority for the Bhutanese ngultrum. The Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan was established under the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan Act of 1982. Subsequently, the Act of 1982 was amended by the Financial Institutions Act of 1992 and replaced in its entirety by the Royal Monetary Authority Act of 2010.

Lake Tsongmo

Tsongmo Lake or Changu Lake is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim, India, some 40 kilometres away from Gangtok at altitude of 3,780 m . The road to Nathu La passes the lake on north side. The Chinese border crossing is only some 5 kilometres east-northeast in a straight line, but some 18 kilometres by road. Indian Postal Service released a commemorative stamp on the lake on 6 November 2006.

Rhenock

Rhenock (in Nepali रिनाक) is a small town in the east district in the Indian state of Sikkim, located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:27.176622|N|88.6432|E||||| | |name= }}. It lies 63 kilometres east of Gangtok on the way to Jelepla Pass at an altitude of 1,040. The word Rhe-nock means Black Hill. Situated in the extreme east of Sikkim, Rhenock witnessed establishment of first police out post in the state, which is the historical event.
