Faizabad Junction railway station

Faizabad Railway Station known as Faizabad Junction is an important railway station in Northern India and is well connected with Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Allahabad. Faizabad Junction is one of the two railway junctions in Faizabad city the another one is Ayodhya Junction which is situated in the adjacent city of Ayodhya at the south end of Faizabad city on the bank of Ghaghra river (locally known as Saryu river).

Bahu Begum ka Maqbara

Bahu Begum ka Maqbara is the Tomb of Queen Bride Begum Unmatuzzohra Bano alias Bahu Begum a memorial built for queen of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula. Its one of the tallest buildings in Faizabad and is a beautiful example of non-mughal Muslim architecture. The Mausoleum of Bahu Begum created by Nawab Suja-ud-Daula in the memory of his loving wife is famous for the creative architectural brilliance with which it was designed and constructed.

Gulab Bari

Gulab Bari Literally meaning 'Garden of Roses', the Tomb of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula, this place has a good collection of roses of various varieties set by the sides of water fountains. Gulab Bari is the maqbara (Mausoleum) of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula, the third Nawab of Oudh in the campus.
