Achmad Yani International Airport

Achmad Yani International Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Internasional Achmad Yani) is the airport serving Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The airport used to be a military airbase owned by the TNI (Armed Forces of Indonesia) until 1966 when the airport was declared to be open for domestic commercial flights, other than as an airbase for the Indonesian Army. The airport is located in the coastal area of Maron beach in West Semarang district, which is prone to flooding and abrasion.

Holy Rosary Cathedral (Semarang)

The Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary, also known as the Holy Rosary Cathedral or Randusari Cathedral, at Randusari, Semarang, Indonesia, is a Roman Catholic and the seat of the Archdiocese of Semarang. Finished in 1927, it became a parish church in 1930 and a cathedral in 1940, when Albertus Soegijapranata was made the first apostolic vicar of Semarang.
