Kingdom of Pajang
The Kingdom of Pajang (1568–1586) was a short-lived Muslim state in Java. It was established by Hadiwijaya or Jaka Tingkir, Lord of Boyolali, after ending civil war in and as successor to Sultanate of Demak. Astana Giribangun
Astana Giribangun, (also "Giri Bangun"), is a mausoleum complex for the Suharto family of former President of the Republic of Indonesia. It is located in Karang Bangun, Kecamatan Matesih, Kabupaten Karanganyar, Central Java province on the slopes of the Mount Lawu mountain complex approximately 35 kilometres to the east of the city of Solo. The archaic Javanese prose title translates as "Palace of the risen mountain".
