Kota Gede

Kota Gede also known as Pasar Gede is an area in the Indonesian city of Yogyakarta. One of the old capitals of Mataram, the area now has an archaeological site which contains the remains of the kraton (palace), the royal cemetery, and royal mosque of Mataram, dated from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. The honorable name of this location in a higher and more respectful level of Javanese language (Kromo) is Pasar Gede.

Garuda Indonesia Flight 200

Garuda Indonesia Flight 200 (GA200) was the scheduled domestic passenger flight of a Boeing 737-497 operated by Garuda Indonesia between Jakarta and Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The aircraft crashed and burst into flames while landing at Adisucipto International Airport on March 7, 2007. According to the airline, 21 passengers and 1 crew member were killed; both the captain and the first officer survived and were admitted to an Indonesian military hospital.

Adisucipto International Airport

Adisucipto (or Adisutjipto) International Airport is the principal airport serving the Yogyakarta area on the island of Java, Indonesia. It is located in the Sleman Regency, in the Yogyakarta Special Region, on the north-east outskirts of the city, near the Prambanan historic temple site. It has one runway, with dimensions of 2,200 metres by 45 metres . The airport is located about 6 kilometres from the city center.

Banyunibo

Banyunibo is a 9th century Buddhist temple located in Cepit hamlet, Bokoharjo village, Prambanan, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The temple is dated from the era of Medang Kingdom, and located on a narrow valley surrounded with paddy field, about two kilometers to the southeast of the Ratu Boko archaeological park on the east side of modern Yogyakarta. Further north is Prambanan temples, and to the south are the Gunung Sewu hills, extension of Gunung Kidul hills.

Ratu Boko

Ratu Boko is an archaeological site known to modern Javanese as Kraton Ratu Boko or Ratu Boko's Palace. Ratu Boko is located on a plateau, about three kilometres south of Lara Jonggrang Prambanan temple complex in Yogyakarta Indonesia. The original name of this site is still unclear, however the local inhabitants named this site after King Boko, the legendary king mentioned in Loro Jonggrang folklore.
