Kota Gede
Kota Gede also known as Pasar Gede is an area in the Indonesian city of Yogyakarta. One of the old capitals of Mataram, the area now has an archaeological site which contains the remains of the kraton (palace), the royal cemetery, and royal mosque of Mataram, dated from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. It is located in the Sleman Regency, in the Yogyakarta Special Region, on the north-east outskirts of the city, near the Prambanan historic temple site.
