Astana Giribangun, (also "Giri Bangun"), is a mausoleum complex for the Suharto family of former President of the Republic of Indonesia. 2009 Indonesian Air Force C-130H Hercules crash
The 2009 C-130H Hercules crash was an aircraft accident in Indonesia on May 20, 2009. The Indonesian Air Force C-130 Hercules airplane was carrying 112 people (98 passengers and 14 crew) and crashed at about 6:30 local time, while flying from Jakarta to eastern Java. The crash resulted in at least 98 deaths, 2 of which occurred on impact when the plane ploughed through a neighborhood, striking at least four houses before skidding into a paddy, in the village of Geplak.
